- Is to develop and support synchronized swimming by providing opportunities for fun, fitness and achievement for all ages. We have swimmers as young as five, and well into their senior years. We are also welcoming to both male and female swimmers.
What we offer:
- Both competitive and non-competitive synchronized swimming programs at various levels. Our individualized approach ensures that regardless of the program, swimmers get the attention they need for improvement and skill mastery. We focus on the development of the entire person, emphasizing fitness and skill development, goal setting, creativity, respect, sportsmanship, co-operation and team values.
Our organization:
- HAN is a not-for-profit organization, directed by parent volunteers. Upon registration each swimmer/family becomes a member of Halifax Aqua Nova (HAN) Synchronized Swim Club. The organization is run by parent volunteers elected to a Board of Directors. Meetings with all members/parents are held several times a year. The Club is a registered member of Synchro Nova Scotia.Halifax Aqua Nova Synchro Club provides instruction and team support for recreational and competitive synchronized swimmers in the Halifax Regional Municipality. Halifax Aqua Nova's goal is to develop and support synchronized swimming by providing opportunities for fun, fitness and achievement for all ages. We focus on the development of the entire person, emphasizing fitness and skill development, goal setting, creativity, respect, sportsmanship, co-operation and team values.
